Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. White County Recent Arrests does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. A message sent by email or contact form may be retained long enough to respond and manage the conversation. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most sites, server and analytics systems may record routine details when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring page, when supplied
- Date and time of access
Cookies help measure how visitors use the pages. Browser controls can reject cookies, though some features may then work differently.
How Data Supports the Service
Collected information is used for limited operating needs:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Sending search requests to the selected partner
- Understanding which content is useful
- Finding and repairing technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Outside Websites and Advertising
Links lead to White County jail and sheriff pages, Arkansas corrections and court portals, federal locators, news sources, and independent search services. Once a visitor follows one, that operator’s privacy rules apply. Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites. That processing occurs on their systems.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited data may be handled by search partners processing a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security Practices
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, so the site cannot guarantee that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian may use the contact route to request deletion if a minor submitted information.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a person may ask for a copy, request a correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Requests must include enough detail to locate the relevant communication or record.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A new version becomes effective when it is posted here with its updated effective date.
